It was a sheer luck for Rail-fans at Vadodara , for us rail-lovers today our night ended with maelstrom . In morning ,  as Panto of one loco failed near Palej ( 45 Kms form Vadodara towards Surat Section ) . All trains coming from Surat were tremendously delayed , because it has also damaged the Over-head wires .

We reached at station 10-00 AM, several  announcement  were on air , informing the list of delayed trains . We were known to this fact , that once repair work is done , it will chockablock at every platform with heavily delayed trains .

Following the avidity ,  our first demand was Pune Durunto { 12298 } , but at platform no.-6 we saw a BRC WAP-4E sauntering . Our Guess was Puri-Ahmedbad express { 18405 } .

& Yes it Puri express ....

Just Puri express has ceased his motion , our sixth sense got activated & signaled that some Rajdhani , Shatabdi or Duronto is coming ....

Chill Guys , just kidding . It was not our sixth sense , but it was the roaring sound of Generator car , Stressing out the funda of Doppler effect form my empty brain . We were totally dumb until we have got a glimpse of WCAM-2P # 21872 .

All of Sudden , we saw that the rear panto of this loco was tied up with a rope . So we got the idea that some thing went this loco only .There were 4 to 6 persons in the Cab .

Believe me folks , after getting a double yellow signal , this train went with such a speed , that in my three years career in Vadodara . i haven't seen such speed in this platform no.-2 of Vadodara railway Station .

After Departure of this Train Mumbai - Indore Duranto Came on Platform no - 4 .



  Today , it was not a lucky day , it was  lucky night too , the most prestigious train of Western railway - Mumbai - New Delhi Rajdhani { 12951 }  was got in a off link . Regular link was GZB WAP-5 or WAP-7 , But , today everyone witnessed this train  with BRC WAP-4 E # 22057 fit ror 130 Km/hr . Perhaps , we can say this a harbinger of change - from GZB Loco's to BRC locos's .

In next couple of years, We can see BRC Locos with this train .

The Silver Strip Like structure shows that this Loco class has been converted from his previous class WAP-1 , So the very first question strikes in  my mind is .

Is this a transferred loco - yes Boss , Its transferred from GZB to BRC .
Although  , WAP-4 wields enomorous power in this party too .
